Does this sound familiar? Reporting and Budget Planning are handled with Excel and as a result, hundreds of sheets with often inconsistent data are circulating throughout the company?
Palo for Excel stops the Excel-Chaos. Palo saves your Excel data in a central business model. The data is available to all users via your network, quickly and easily.
Palo provides central and consistent storage for all your Excel data.
Important: Palo does not save Excel tables but cell values only by using a comprehensive and indicative system of coordinates. Palo is also web-enabled and not limited to the two dimensions of Excel.
Palo integrates seamlessly and easily into Excel. With the help of the PALO.DATA formula, you can access cell values within the Palo database in a sophisticated manner via descriptive element names.
Data can not only be displayed but also collected via Excel by overwriting the DATA formula with a value. The formula will be preserved and will display the new value.
Combine the multidimensional and network-enabled data power of Palo with the easy handling and graphic possibilities of Excel turning Excel into an unbeatable Business Intelligence tool for planning, analysis, reporting and dashboards.
Try it out for yourself. Palo for Excel is free!
Palo's data storage can not only host Excel data but it can also integrate data from SAP BW, SAP ERP, Oracle or e.g. MS SQL-Server via Palo ETL.
Data integration is possible in both directions. For instance, in Palo generated planning data can be sent back to SAP.
Palo puts an end to the well-known Excel chaos. All Excel cell values are held centrally in an organized manner on a common server. The cell values can be linked in any number of Excel tables and centrally changed from there - if the user has the correct rights.
Palo is Open Source software developed by the Business Intelligence specialist Jedox.
